Gas station robbery in Manchester eludes police despite K9 search, drone deployment

MANCHESTER –– A man armed with what appeared to be a box cutter held up the Gulf Gas Station on Londonderry Turnpike on August 18, according to authorities.

Manchester Police responded to the incident at approximately 9:30 p.m.

The clerk at the gas station reported that the suspect had demanded cash and cigarettes before fleeing in the direction of Wellington Road.

A description provided by the clerk painted the suspect as a Hispanic man around 6 feet tall.

He was reportedly wearing a camouflage sweatshirt with an insignia on the back, black sweatpants, and a black cloth resembling a bandana over his face.

Despite a thorough search involving a K9 unit and drone, the suspect managed to evade the police.

Authorities have not yet located the man.
