DUI charges after vehicle driving with missing tire on I-89 in Richmond

RICHMOND — A 29-year-old man from Connecticut was arrested for DUI in Richmond today.

Police say they observed a vehicle traveling north on I-89 that was missing a front passenger’s side tire at around 12:30 a.m.

State Police then conducted a motor vehicle stop of the vehicle.

While speaking with the driver, identified as Ethan Francks, of Marlborough, CT, police say they observed several signs of impairment.

After further investigation, Francks was placed under arrest for suspicion of DUI and was transported to the Vermont State Police barracks in Williston for processing.

He was released with a citation to appear in court to answer for the charge.
