Two-vehicle crash with injuries in Moretown

MORETOWN — Police responded to a two-vehicle crash with injuries in Moretown today.

The crash took place on Vermont Route 100, near Old Talc Mine Road, at around 9:10 a.m.

According to the report, a 17-year-old driver from Warren was headed south when he crossed the center line and hit the vehicle driven by Amanda Letourneau, 52, of Swanton, head-on.

The vehicle rolled over.

Letourneau and her passenger, Cheryl Messier, 80, of Swanton, were both transported to UVMMC with life-threatening injuries.

The driver was transported to CVMC for injuries.

Police are still investigating the crash.
