PELHAM –– A single-vehicle rollover resulted in a DUI arrest early Tuesday morning, according to the Pelham Police Department.

On August 15, the Pelham Police and Fire departments were called to Pulpit Rock Road around 12:13 a.m. for a motor vehicle accident.

Upon arrival, officials found a 2021 Honda Odyssey on its side in the middle of the road.

The driver of the vehicle, 48-year-old Jason Loomer of Methuen, MA, had apparently side-swiped a tree which caused the vehicle to flip over and slide before coming to a halt.

Pelham Fire Department EMS personnel evaluated Loomer and his adult passenger, but no injuries were reported.

Upon investigation by Officer Simes, it was determined that Loomer was impaired.

He was arrested and charged with Driving Under the Influence, Transporting Drugs in a Motor Vehicle, Possession of Controlled Drugs, and Possession of Prescription Drugs.

Loomer is scheduled to be arraigned at Nashua Superior Court on August 31 at 1:00 p.m.
