Vehicle strikes toll plaza in Bedford, no injuries reported

BEDFORD — State police have reported a vehicle striking the northbound toll plaza in Bedford Sunday evening, with no injuries noted to either the vehicle’s occupants or toll plaza employees.

The incident was brought to the attention of the state police by the New Hampshire Department of Transportation (DOT) around 7:15 p.m.

Upon arrival, authorities confirmed that the occupants of the vehicle were unharmed and proceeded to close lanes in the toll plaza.

In order to manage the ensuing traffic, vehicles were directed around the crash site while officers awaited the arrival of a tow truck to clear the area.

State police are currently investigating the accident and have assured the public that no employees in the toll plaza were injured during the incident.
