Police looking for vehicle that ran during traffic stop in Georgia

GEORGIA — Police are looking for a vehicle that was involved in an incident in Georgia on August 5.

Police say they observed a white BMW 335xi traveling at a high rate of speed and in a negligent manner on I-89 south at around 4:10 p.m.

The vehicle exited the interstate off Exit 18, then proceeded north on US 7 where the trooper attempted to stop it.

The vehicle initially pulled over but fled as the trooper was approaching the vehicle on foot.

Police say the vehicle had Vermont registration GSR 777 affixed to it.

Police say that the license plate was stolen.

Anyone with information is asked to call VSP St. Albans.
