Two seriously injured after motorcycle hits deer in Marlboro

MARLBORO — Police responded to a crash in Marlboro on August 6.

The crash involved a motorcycle and a deer on Vermont Route 9 at around 5:20 p.m.

According to the report, Frank Demambro, 52, of Milford, NH, was traveling east on Vermont Route 9 toward Brattleboro when he collided with a deer in the road.

The crash resulted in both the driver and passenger being ejected from the motorcycle.

Both were treated at the scene by members of Rescue who determined they had serious bodily injuries and required immediate further medical care.

They were both transported via air to Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center by DART.

The road was shut down in both directions for around one hour.
