MANCHESTER — A 49-year-old Lexington, Kentucky, man has been arrested for allegedly sending sexually explicit images to a minor in Manchester, following a joint investigation by local and Kentucky law enforcement agencies.

Kevin Lentz was arrested on August 8 by the Lexington Police Department and charged with seven counts of use of a minor under 16 in a sexual performance, ten counts of distribution of obscene matter to a minor, and six counts of tampering with physical evidence.

The Manchester Police Department Cyber Crime Unit and the Lexington Police Department began the investigation earlier this year after receiving information about Lentz’s alleged activities.

The probe spanned several months before culminating in Lentz’s arrest.

As of now, Lentz is being held at the Fayette County Detention Center in Kentucky.
