Pelham sex offender arrested on felony sexual assault charges

PELHAM –– A registered sex offender from Pelham was arrested on felony sexual assault charges on Aug. 8.

The Manchester Police Department informed the Pelham Police Department that they had a warrant for the arrest of Michael Allen, 36.

Officers responded to Allen’s residence at approximately 6:20 p.m. and took him into custody without incident.

After processing at the Pelham Police Department, he was handed over to the Manchester Police Department.

Allen posted his $2,000 cash bail and was released from Valley Street Jail on Aug. 9. Inquiries regarding his arrest should be directed to the Manchester Police Department.

Allen is a registered sex offender living in Pelham.

He is required to maintain his registration status with this agency.

As is standard procedure, all suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
