NORTHFIELD –– A 25-year-old man from Northfield was apprehended by local police on August 7 and 8 after it was discovered he had an extraditable warrant from Florida.
Jackson Haught, born Sept. 11, 1998, was served paperwork by Northfield Police which unveiled the outstanding warrant.
Haught is wanted in Florida for contacting a victim he had previously assaulted.
Northfield officers were not initially aware of the warrant when they served the paperwork to Haught. The discovery led to Haught’s arrest as a fugitive from justice.
The Northfield Police Department has not released any additional information about the circumstances leading to Haught’s initial paperwork service.
