Manchester man sought in boat theft

MANCHESTER –– Local police are actively seeking a Manchester man, Andrew Dufresne, 51, in connection with the theft of a boat and trailer.

On July 20, at around 8 p.m., surveillance footage showed a dark-colored SUV pulling into a Blaine St parking lot.

A man and woman were seen exiting the vehicle, with the man then getting into the driver’s seat and the woman directing him to a boat trailer.

The trailer, carrying a 2003 18-foot Mariah motorboat, was then hitched to the SUV before both individuals drove away.

Authorities identified Dufresne as the man in the video.

He is currently wanted for Theft by Unauthorized Taking.

Additionally, it has been discovered that Dufresne is currently under supervised release for a 2014 bank robbery.

The police have released an image from the surveillance video and a 2008 photo of Dufresne in hopes of aiding his identification.
