Manchester man charged with possession of child sexual abuse images

MANCHESTER –– A local man has turned himself into the Manchester Police on charges of possessing child sexual abuse images.

Wayne Stevens, 68, turned himself in on August 8, following an arrest warrant issued earlier this year.

Manchester Police initiated an investigation into Stevens after receiving a cyber-tip alleging that he owned devices containing sexually explicit images of children.

As part of the investigation, a search warrant was executed at Stevens’ residence.

During the search, officers seized six electronic devices and subsequently discovered multiple images of child sexual abuse.

Stevens is currently facing ten counts of Possession of Child Sexual Abuse Images.

A judge set his bail at $10,000 cash. The Manchester Police Department continues its investigation into this case.
