NEWINGTON –– Earlier today, while serving an eviction notice on Airport Road, the Rockingham County Sheriff’s Department discovered evidence of a marijuana grow operation.
Following the acquisition of a search warrant, the Sheriff’s Department, with assistance from the Newington Police Department, seized 60 marijuana plants, methamphetamines, hallucinogens, and a variety of prescription drugs.
According to a statement from the Newington Police Department, the Rockingham County Sheriff’s Department is leading the ongoing investigation into the drug bust.
