Four injured in Manchester crash, one critically

MANCHESTER –– A single-vehicle crash on Interstate 93 North left four people injured early Tuesday morning, one of them critically, according to New Hampshire State Police.

The crash occurred around 6:45 a.m. at mile marker 19.2 during heavy rain.

A witness reported that the vehicle, a white 2011 Chevrolet Express van, hydroplaned and veered off the road, striking a tree.

State troopers responding to the scene found four occupants in the van, one of whom was entrapped.

The driver, identified as 33-year-old Limi Sabdiel De Leon Can of Lynn, Massachusetts, sustained minor injuries.

The front seat passenger, 29-year-old Wilson Damian Ramirez Garcia also of Lynn, was pinned inside the vehicle with serious injuries. He was extricated by the Manchester Fire Department.

Two additional passengers, Bernard Kennedy Escobar Barrios, 30, and Elian Margarito Hernandez Ramirez, 23, both also from Lynn, were found unsecured in the rear of the van. Barrios sustained minor injuries while Ramirez was uninjured.

The New Hampshire State Police was aided on the scene by the Department of Transportation, Manchester Fire Department, and AMR Ambulance Service.

The right lane of Interstate 93 North was closed for about two hours during the investigation.
