CAMBRIDGE — A 49-year-old man from Colorado was cited following an incident in Smuggler’s Notch yesterday.
Authorities say they were notified of a tractor-trailer at around 4:00 p.m.
Police say they located the tractor-trailer partially off the road when they arrived.
The driver was identified as Ramiro Suarez Cadena, of Denver, CO.
Cadena told police that he was unable to read or understand the English language, so he did not heed the multiple signs prior to entering the Notch.
He was issued multiple tickets for entering the Notch and blocking traffic.
State Police was assisted by the Stowe Police Department.
