Man arrested for DUI after found unresponsive in Irasburg

IRASBURG — A 22-year-old man was arrested for DUI following an incident in Irasburg yesterday.

Authorities say they were notified of an unresponsive motorist in a parked vehicle on Vermont Route 58 at around 3:40 a.m.

Upon arrival, police say they identified the driver as Joseph Young, of Irasburg.

Police say he displayed indicators of impairment.

After further investigations, Young was arrested for suspicion of DUI and transported to the Vermont State Police Derby barracks for processing.

He was later released with a citation to appear in court at a later date and time.
