Police say they observed a motorcycle and a passenger car racing, traveling at a high rate of speed on I-89 north at around 12:30 a.m.

The vehicles were observed traveling 93 miles-per-hour in the posted 55 miles-per-hour zone.

Police initiated a traffic stop on the car and identified the driver as Jason Robinson.

While speaking with Robinson, police say they detected several indicators of impairment.
