Driver charged with DUI after clocked doing 88 mph in Fairfax

FAIRFAX — A 32-year-old man from Highgate was arrested for DUI following an incident in Fairfax today.

Police say they initiated a traffic stop for a vehicle traveling 88 miles-per-hour in a posted 65 miles-per-hour zone at around 12:55 a.m.

The driver was identified as Sean Largey.

Largey displayed multiple indicators of impairment and was screened for DUI.

He was placed into custody for suspicion of DUI and transported to the St. Albans State Police barracks for processing.

He was later released to a sober party and issued a citation to appear in court on August 7 for the offense.
