Driver charged with excessive speeding in Manchester

MANCHESTER — A 26-year-old man from Sunderland was cited for excessive speeding in Manchester today.

Police say they clocked a vehicle traveling 100 miles-per-hour in a posted 50 miles-per-hour speed limit zone.

According to the report, the vehicle was racing another vehicle on Vermont Route 7A, near the Wilcox Flats.

The driver was identified as Zachary Curtis.

He was issued a Vermont Civil Violation Complaint for speeding.
