CAVENDISH — A 41-year-old woman was arrested for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon following an incident in Cavendish.

On July 2, authorities say they were notified of a citizen dispute at a residence on Knapp Road.

While investigating, police say they received information of a separate incident that had occurred weeks prior.

Following an investigation, police allege that Jessica Bjorge, of Cavendish, threatened Michele Demond, 49, of Cavendish, with a knife and attempted to strike her with the object.

Bjorge was arrested and brought back to the Westminster State Police barracks for processing.

She was released with a citation and is scheduled to appear in court today.
