PERU — A 52-year-old man was cited for assault following an incident in Peru yesterday.
Authorities say they were notified of an assault that occurred in the area of Anderson Road at around 10:45 p.m.
Police allege that Carl Holcomb, of Peru, had caused injury to Hope Richardson, 64, during an altercation.
Holcomb was later processed at the Shaftsbury barracks and issued a criminal citation to appear in court today to answer the charge.
