MARSHFIELD — A 27-year-old woman from New York was involved in a crash in Marshfield yesterday.
The two-vehicle crash took place on US Route 2, near the Martin Covered Bridge, at around 6:50 p.m.
According to the report, Marissa Purdy, of Washingtonville, NY, was traveling west and crossed over the center of the road and collided with Brett Trahan, 33, of Danville.
Police say Purdy was transported to the hospital to be treated for injuries.
She was also processed for DUI.
Police say Purdy is scheduled to appear in court on August 31 to answer to charges of DUI, and leaving the scene of an accident.
