SPRINGFIELD — A 23-year-old man was cited for excessive speeding following an incident in Springfield on Friday.
Police say they observed a motorcycle traveling at a high rate of speed on Vermont Route 11 at around 6:15 p.m.
The motorcycle was clocked at 84 miles-per-hour, 34 miles-per-hour above the posted speed limit of 50 miles-per-hour.
A traffic stop was conducted and the driver was identified as Joshua Behsmann, of Springfield.
Behsmann was issued a citation to appear in court on August 15 and was issued a citation to appear in court on August 15.
