DUI crash in Bolton

BOLTON — A 35-year-old man from Essex was cited for DUI following a crash in Bolton on Friday.

Authorities say they were notified of a single-vehicle crash on Bolton Access Road at around 11:45 a.m.

While traveling to the area, police say the vehicle was off the road and the driver was trapped inside.

Police made contact with the driver who identified himself as Nathan Cookson.

According to the report, Cookson was under the influence of intoxicants.

He was then transported to UVM Medical Center.

Ultimately, Benoit was cited and released to appear in court on September 30 to answer for the charge.
