FERRISBURGH — A 26-year-old man from Middlebury was arrested for DUI following an incident in Ferrisburgh early Friday morning.
Police say they stopped to check on a vehicle parked in the Cookie Love parking lot on US Route 7 at around 2:10 a.m.
The driver was identified as John McAninch.
While speaking with McAninch, police say they detected indicators of impairment.
He was screened, placed under arrest, and transported to the New Haven barracks for processing.
At the conclusion of processing, McAninch was released with a citation to appear in court the following Monday.
