Hubbardton man arrested on charges of domestic assault and criminal threatening

HUBBARDTON — A 23-year-old Hubbardton man, Johnathan Jordan, was taken into custody by Vermont State Police Wednesday afternoon on charges of domestic assault and criminal threatening.

The arrest occurred after troopers from the Rutland Barracks responded to a report of a domestic disturbance in Hubbardton at about 5:15 p.m. today.

Upon investigation, authorities found that Jordan had committed the offenses of domestic assault and criminal threatening.

He was subsequently taken into custody and transported to the Vermont State Police Rutland Barracks for processing.

Following processing, Jordan was issued a citation and is scheduled to appear in Rutland Superior Court – Criminal Division at a future date and time.

As is standard in domestic violence cases, no further details were released to protect the privacy of the victim.
