Rollover crash with injuries in Newbury

NEWBURY — Police responded to a single-vehicle rollover crash with injuries in Newbury yesterday.

The crash took place on Route 302, near Wallace Hill Road, at around 7:15 p.m.

According to the report, Timothy Kearney, 31, of Newbury, lost control of a Chevrolet Trailblazer he was operating while traveling at a high rate of speed.

The vehicle left the road and traveled up an embankment, which resulted in the vehicle overturning.

Police say the driver and his passenger, Zachary Tobin, 30, of Thetford, were transported to Cottage Hospital in Woodsville for injuries.

Police are still investigating the crash.
