Nashua man arrested on firearm theft, felony charges

NASHUA — A Nashua man was arrested on felony charges related to firearm theft, according to a statement released by the Nashua Police Department.

Michael Woodside, 55, was taken into custody under a felony arrest warrant for Theft of a Firearm, Convicted Felon in Possession of a Dangerous Weapon, and a misdemeanor for Breach of Bail Conditions.

The arrest followed an investigation that began in December 2022, when officers responded to a report of a stolen firearm from a vehicle.

Detectives identified Woodside as a suspect in the theft. Upon interviewing him, Woodside admitted to the alleged crimes.

A warrant for his arrest was subsequently issued.

Woodside refused bail and is scheduled for arraignment at the Hillsborough Superior Court-South on June 27, 2023.
