Graffiti sprayed on USPS building in Newfane, investigation underway

NEWFANE — Vermont State Police are investigating a vandalism incident at a United States Postal Service (USPS) building on Dover Road in Newfane.

The Newfane Postmaster reported the graffiti, which was spray-painted on the USPS building, to police around 10:42 a.m. Monday.

The incident is believed to have occurred sometime between Friday at approximately noon and Monday at about 10 a.m.

The identity of the perpetrator is still under investigation and police are treating the incident as a case of unlawful mischief.

Vermont State Police are requesting the public’s assistance in this case.
