Enosburg man charged in April burglary

FAIRFAX — A man already in custody on unrelated charges has been identified as the suspect in an April burglary in Enosburg, according to Vermont State Police.

Damian Dailey, 28, also of Enosburg, was linked to the burglary through a DNA comparison exam.

He is accused of breaking into a residence on Saint Albans Street during the overnight hours of April 17 and stealing cash.

The burglary was reported at 12:33 p.m. on April 17 by the resident, Lindsay Wells, 31.

At that time, Dailey had not yet been identified as the suspect.

Dailey, who was already being held at the Northwest Correctional Facility on another burglary charge, was issued a citation to appear before the Franklin County District Court on August 15 at 8:30 a.m.

The investigation continues and further details will be released as they become available.
