Two Wolcott men hospitalized after Waterbury stabbing incident

WATERBURY — A violent altercation involving multiple individuals on a Waterbury street resulted in two men suffering stab wounds, according to the Vermont State Police.

The incident, which involved both juvenile and adult individuals, took place on the intersection of Park Row and Railroad Street in Waterbury.

Responding officers from the Berlin Barracks arrived on scene to find two adult victims, identified as Josh Gillen, 28, and Aaron Vetere, 22, both from Wolcott, who had sustained apparent stab wounds.

Both Gillen and Vetere were transported to the UVM Medical Center for treatment of their injuries.

The current status of their condition is yet to be released.

The investigation into this incident is active and ongoing. State Police are requesting that anyone with information that may assist in their investigation contact Det. Sgt. Amber Keener.
