RANDOLPH — Jakob Bilodeau, 25, of Springfield, is facing charges of driving under the influence following a single-vehicle crash on VT Route 12 in Brookfield.
According to authorities, troopers responded to the incident at approximately 4:21 a.m. on June 14.
Bilodeau, the operator of the vehicle, was later located near the intersection of VT Route 12 and Hemlock Lane in Randolph.
While speaking with Bilodeau, troopers detected indicators of impairment.
Following an investigation, he was taken into custody without incident and transported to the VSP Royalton Barracks for processing.
Bilodeau has been cited to appear in Orange County Superior Court Criminal Division at a later date. The specifics of the date and charges have not been disclosed at this time.
