Police seek public’s help in locating fugitive with ties to Laconia

LACONIA — The New Hampshire Department of Corrections (NHDOC) is seeking the public’s assistance in locating and arresting fugitive Justin Robert Washburn, wanted for parole violations related to a strong arm robbery conviction.

Washburn, who has a known substance use disorder, was previously residing in a sober house in Laconia before absconding.

His criminal history includes a previous escape conviction and absconding from supervision.

The fugitive has family, friends, and associates in Belknap County and the Lakes Region and is believed to still be in that area, according to the NHDOC.

The public is cautioned not to attempt to apprehend Washburn themselves.

Anyone who sees someone resembling Washburn or has information that may lead to his location and arrest is urged to contact the NHDOC at (603) 271-1804, or their local police department.
