Single-vehicle crash with injuries in Starksboro

STARKSBORO — A 25-year-old man from Bristol was involved in a single-vehicle crash in Starksboro yesterday.

The crash took place on Vermont Route 116, near the intersection with Varney Hill Road, at around 10:25 p.m.

According to the report, Logan Swinton was traveling south when he left the southbound lane and struck a guard rail.

The vehicle overturned before coming to a position of uncontrolled rest.

Police say Swinton was transported by ambulance to UVM medical center for injuries.

Troopers were assisted on the scene by members of the Bristol Police Department, Starksboro Fire Department, and Bristol Rescue Squad.
