Woman charged after hitting parked vehicle in Williamstown

WILLIAMSTOWN — A 40-year-old woman was cited for leaving the scene of an accident in Williamstown on Sunday.

Authorities say they were notified of a 2014 Subaru Impreza that was operating erratically and had struck a 2012 Ford Edge that was parked on the side of Main Street at around 7:25 p.m.

The Ford Edge sustained minor damage to the driver’s side rear quarter panel.

According to the report, Jaime Spencer, of Williamstown, was the driver of the Subaru at the time of the crash.

The Subaru sustained minor damage to the passenger side mirror.

Police say Spencer’s operator’s license was also criminally suspended at the time of the crash.

She was issued a citation for leaving the scene of an accident and driving with a license suspended.

She is scheduled to appear in court on August 2.
