DUMMERSTON — A 72-year-old man from Putney was arrested for DUI following an incident in Dummerston on Monday.
Authorities say they were notified an unresponsive man was seen on the ground at the Sunoco Station off Exit 4 at around 5:45 p.m.
The man, identified as Joseph Zarella, had previously operated a motor vehicle.
Police say they observed multiple signs of impairment and Zarella was screened and arrested for suspicion of DUI.
He was processed and released with a citation to appear in court on June 27.
