Cavendish woman, two others charged in Windsor County

CAVENDISH — Three individuals, including a Cavendish woman operating an ATV with a criminally suspended license, were arrested on June 9, according to local police.

Victoria Thompson, 29, of Cavendish, was observed driving an ATV on High Street.

When checked with the Vermont Department of Motor Vehicles, it was revealed that Thompson’s license was criminally suspended.

Thompson was subsequently issued a citation.

While officers were dealing with Thompson, Kimberly Duprey, 46, of Plainfield, New Hampshire, and Ryan Buckley, 35, of Windsor, Vermont, arrived at the scene to assist in removing the ATV.

It was discovered that both Duprey and Buckley had outstanding Vermont arrest warrants.

The two were given citations and detained at the Southern State Correctional Facility on bail.

Thompson is due to appear in Windsor County Criminal Court on August 15, while Duprey and Buckley are slated to appear in court on June 12, Duprey in Windham County Criminal Court and Buckley in Windsor County Criminal Court.
