Two Hartford residents arrested in month-long drug investigation

HARTFORD — A month-long drug investigation has culminated in the arrests of two Hartford residents, according to the Hartford Police Department.

The operation involved multiple agencies, including the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), Norwich Police Department, and Lebanon Police Department.

James Ingerson, 52, and Leanne Salls, 40, were taken into custody yesterday following the execution of a search warrant at their residence, located at 549 Hartford Avenue.

Ingerson was arrested and charged with cocaine possession and for being a prohibited person (a felon) in possession of a firearm.

Following his arrest, he was handed over to Hartford Probation and Parole and held on a parole violation.

Salls was also arrested on a charge of cocaine possession.

She was subsequently released, with a court date to be determined.

The Hartford Police Department has expressed its gratitude to all the agencies that assisted in the investigation, as well as to the community for its cooperation.
