POWNAL — A 42-year-old woman from Massachusetts was arrested for DUI following an incident in Pownal yesterday.
Authorities say they were notified of a vehicle off the road in the area of US Route 7 and Jackson Cross Road at around 10:50 p.m.
Police say they located the vehicle which had slowly driven into a ditch.
The driver, identified as Kristen Racette, displayed signs of impairment and was arrested for DUI.
Racette was transported to the Shaftsbury State Police barracks for processing and later released with a citation to appear in court on June 24 for the offense.
