HARTFORD — A 45-year-old man from Witingham was cited for DUI following a crash in Hartford last month.
The single-vehicle crash took place on I-91 south at around 2:30 p.m. on April 18.
The vehicle hit the passing lane guardrail.
The driver was identified as John Galaske.
Following an investigation, police say they observed signs of drug use and obtained blood evidence from Galaske indicating he had substances other than alcohol in his system.
Troopers also later discovered that Galaske’s driver’s license status was suspended criminally.
He was issued a citation to appear in court on June 27 to answer the charges.
