ENOSBURG — An altercation in a grocery store parking lot has led to assault charges for an Enosburg man, according to Vermont State Police.
The incident took place today at 4:44 p.m. at the Enosburg Hannaford’s supermarket parking lot.
Following a verbal altercation that escalated, Billy Russell, 53, of Enosburg, is alleged to have assaulted Hans Gill, 35, also of Enosburg.
Gill sustained minor injuries from the incident.
Police later located Russell at his residence, where they issued him a citation.
He is scheduled to appear in Franklin County District Court on July 18 to face the charges.
