THETFORD — A motorcycle crash on Interstate 91 in Thetford resulted in minor injuries yesterday.
At approximately 9:01 a.m., Vermont State Police, Thetford Police Department, and Thetford Fire/EMS responded to the area of Mile Marker 81 for a motorcycle crash.
The operator was identified as Timothy Jerry, 38, of Bradford.
Jerry was operating a 2004 Honda VTX when he swerved to avoid a turkey in the road.
As a result, he went off the road into the shoulder and crashed.
Jerry was transported to Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center for minor injuries.
The motorcycle was totaled.
