Woman arrested for assault in Tinmouth

TINMOUTH — A 39-year-old woman was arrested following an incident in Tinmouth yesterday.

Authorities say they were notified of an assault that occurred on Mountain View Road at around 9:30 p.m.

Following an investigation, police allege that Belinda Gagne, of Tinmouth, caused pain and injury to multiple family or household members.

Police say Gagne then was in possession of a deadly weapon causing a family or household member to fear serious bodily injury.

She was placed into custody and transported to the Rutland barracks for processing.

She was lodged at Marble Valley Regional Correctional Facility.

Police say a judicial official was contacted and conditions of release were issued along with Gagne being lodged at Marble Valley Regional Correctional Facility.
