Assault incident leads to arrest in West Rutland

RUTLAND –– A man from West Rutland is facing charges following a domestic assault incident that occurred early this morning, according to the Vermont State Police.

Troopers from the Rutland barracks responded to a domestic disturbance in West Rutland around 2:15 a.m.

Through an investigation, they determined that Jordan Pare, 33, had committed the offense of domestic assault.

Pare was taken into custody and transported to the Rutland Barracks for processing.

After the processing, Pare was issued a citation to appear in Rutland Superior Court’s Criminal Division at a later date.

The court hearing is scheduled for May 22.
