FAIRFAX — Following a several-week investigation into a threat made against Bellows Free Academy on April 12, two juveniles have been arrested and charged.
The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office, in close partnership with the Vermont State Police, Homeland Security Investigations, and the Federal Bureau of Investigations, concluded that the threat was not credible.
The juveniles, whose names have not been released due to their age, will appear in family court at a future date.
The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office has reassured the public that the safety of the students and staff at the academy remains their top priority
