Fatal single-car crash in Chester under investigation

CHESTER — The Chester Police Department is investigating a single-vehicle crash that resulted in the death of a 52-year-old man from Sandown, N.H., on May 18.

The crash occurred at approximately 10:23 p.m.

First responders were dispatched following a 911 call that reported the driver was hanging out of the vehicle.

Prior to police arrival, an update from 911 reported the driver was not conscious or breathing.

A good Samaritan on the scene had already removed the driver from the vehicle and positioned him for CPR.

Officer Michael Kehoe was the first emergency responder on scene and immediately began life-saving techniques.

Additional responders arrived to assist, but the driver, identified as Kevin O’Leary of Sandown, succumbed to his injuries.

Authorities are asking anyone who witnessed the crash to contact the Chester Police Department at 1-603-887-2080.
