Suspects rob, vandalize vehicles at Danville Elementary School

DANVILLE — Vermont State Police are investigating a series of thefts and acts of vandalism at Danville Elementary School on May 15, according to officials.

The police received the reports about the incidents, which occurred in the school’s parking lot, at 3:25 p.m.

The complainant said that between 1 and 3 p.m., several vehicles were burglarized, items stolen, and some car windows were smashed.

Investigators believe the culprits may have walked to the parking lot from a nearby road, wearing dark clothing.

The stolen items have not been recovered as of this news release.

Authorities are asking anyone with information about the thefts and vandalism to contact Trooper Schrauf at the Vermont State Police St. Johnsbury Barracks at 802-748-3111.
