RANDOLPH — The Vermont State Police say they arrested Izzy Mitchell, 48, for suspicion of driving under the influence following a single-vehicle crash last week.

According to a police report, on May 10, troopers received a call about a crash on Vermont Route 66 in the town of Randolph.

Upon arrival, they found a Chevrolet pickup truck on its side by Floyd’s General Store.

It appeared that the vehicle missed the intersection of VT Route 66 / East Bethel Road and overcorrected the turn to continue on VT Route 66.

The vehicle caused damage to multiple signs and flipped on its side before coming to a stop.
