WATERBURY — A 28-year-old man was cited for assault following an incident in Waterbury on Friday.
Authorities say they were notified by staff at Southern State Correctional Facility that inmate Tyler Foster, of Waterbury, assaulted Dylan Williams.
Williams received minor injuries as a result.
Following an investigation, Foster was issued a citation to appear in court on June 20 for the charge.
He remains incarcerated, police say.
