Man held without bail for aggravated assault, unlawful restraint in Randolph

RANDOLPH — A Massachusetts man has been arrested in Randolph for allegedly assaulting two people early this morning.

Dahiem Dukes, 20, was taken into custody by troopers from the Royalton barracks after they responded to a report of a male subject beating another male subject with a wooden object.

When they arrived at the residence, they found Dukes hiding in an upstairs bedroom.

An investigation revealed that Dukes had assaulted two people in the house.

He was transported to the Royalton barracks and ordered held without bail.

Dukes has been cited to appear in Orange Superior Court on Tuesday to answer charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and second-degree unlawful restraint, both of which he has been charged with two counts each.

The victims have been identified as Harry Miller, 43, and Shawna Lumbra, 32, both of Barre.
